Apostolic Fashion #4 - Winter

Layers, layers, layers!!

Day Two
Second day at the hospital. Today is just a waiting game. Tomorrow at 6am Jeni goes in for her heart cath. That is where they put a tube in her leg and insert a camera-type thing up through her body to her heart (crazy, I know!) and that will tell us the extent of the blockage and of the damage that was done.
Its been a long couple of days. We don’t even know when her heart attack...
Christmas...
We’re on our way to a big cardiac hospital… Jeni (my mother-in-law) has muscle damage from a possible heart attack. Please pray for Jeni and for our whole family, this is a very difficult time for us. Thank you friends <3

Here is the third post of Apostolic Fashion, just in time for Christmas. I’ve been working on this one slowly for a while but I had exams and a 33 hr workweek so I’ve been BUSY! =) But here it is.

Evacuation
The past hour of my life has been veeeery interesting, to say the least.
My husband and I were studying in the lounge in the CNM building on campus when a professor came in and said we had to evacuate immediately because there was a possible gunman at the Valley Museum, which is 1 block away and owned by our college.
We had to leave our stuff and go right away to the basement, where about 60...

Since I am loooooong overdue… I promise, I didn’t die!
I worked 29 hours this weekend. =P I was basically Wal-Mart’s slave so I’m EXHAUSTED. Butttt, I had a gooood weekend, numbers wise (they keep track of your average items per hour and I was at or above my average every single day this weekend! yay!)
It has also rained (Saturday night) and turned into ice and then into...

Maybe its just me, but sometimes, I struggle in my walk with Jesus.

Okay, okay, we all struggle sometimes. But one of my biggest struggles is getting frustrated with how I (and we as Apostolics) dress. Silly, I know. But I see tons of super cute non-Apostolic girls in clothes that aren’t awful but aren’t modest, either. It frustrates me.
