We ended up having 9 people, not including Allen and myself, at our apartment for our first Nexus hangout. What a great success! We gave them the outline of what we want to do with this new ministry and everyone was very excited. Our main goals are:

To use bi-weekly hangouts as a way to introduce non-church friends to church friends (a doorway to getting them to the church)

Bible studies (ties in with the above)

Community service and involvement to give the Apostolics a presence and eventually recognition in the community

And long-term goal is a mission trip in 2014. I know God will provide =)
